NTA has taken exam for JEE Main exam 2 times in this year 2023. JEE (Main) 2023
- Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will be held on 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 January 2023
- Session 2 on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12 April 2023. This is being done to ensure that the JEE (Main) 2023 does not interfere with the Board examinations, which may be held at different times across the States/UTs. Paper 2A and Paper 2B (B. Arch and B. Planning) will also be held twice a year (January and April 2023).

1. In how many Sessions will JEE (Main)-2023 be conducted?
Answer- JEE (Main)-2023 will be conducted in Two Sessions (January and April 2023).

Answer - The advantages of Multiple Sessions in JEE (Main)-2023 are as follows:
a. This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in one attempt.
b. In first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can
improve while attempting for the next time.
c. This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.

This may be applicable from academic year 2023-22 onwards.
